‘Nyamukara’ – a Venda word meaning “Heroine – Inspirational innovator.”

Nyamukara Empowerment is a black women owned, registered non-profit company co-founded by Mercia Maserumule and Elelwane Pahlana who together have over 30 years experience in the socio-economic development within the public and private sectors. The organisation focuses on the  development and empowerment of women, youth and persons with disabilities.

Nyamukara Empowerment is committed to Impacting Social Change by Supporting the goal for social change through impact driven development programmes and projects that are sustainable.
