Nyamukara’ is a Venda word meaning “Heroine and inspirational innovator”. The word represents what our organisation as a women led and driven entity that works in collaboration with public and private sector partners to implement social and economic development programmes to support and empower individuals, groups and communities.

Established in 2021, Nyamukara Empowerment is a non-profit company that works in partnership and collaboration with public and private sector organisations, other development partners and communities to implement and maximise the impact and reach of our development programmes and projects.

Nyamukara Empowerment is a social impact driven organisation with service offerings that are aligned to and that support the Sustainable Development Goals in order to realise impact driven social development.
